Hello everyone,

I recently purchased and will be picking up my 2002 civic ex on tuesday. It has euro head/tailights, what looks like an RSX front fender. Body has 78000 Miles, new engine has 34000, I believe it is the d17a1

Also has new clutch and transmission. I just ordered a million color underglow kit, password JDM: carbon fiber power chamber intake, and an N1.

This will be my first honda/car that I'm actually putting money into. My goals=do enough work to the internals etc to get it ready for turbo'ing. Everyone of my friends have boosted cars and it's frustrating lol.

One of my friends has a boosted spec with all the trimmings, one has an srt4 and one has an STi (you can see how frustrating it is)

Working on a tight budget right now so we'll see how things progress. I'll upload pictures once i pick up the car.

/edit Also just wondering if anyone knows where to get a push button start kit? everywhere I look it's only for s2k's Thanks

ur killing me...please no F&F stuff...ur just wasting money from ur "tight" budget and tbh i wouldn't boost a single cam made after the y8 because of lack of aftermarket support. ur better off to not buy that car and get a civic made prior to 2000, then at least the engine will have support.

You're limited w/ the newer models. If you want power..ur stuck w/ a k swap. That will be pricey..

I don't mean to be rude but....Like previously stated....If you are on a low budget and you have goals of boost, why on Earth are you wasting money on absolutely pointless s**t?

yah tight budget in my mind, is like buying auto zone floor mats, and cleaning the car up, and thats about it. imo if i was on a super tight budget, i wouldnt be wanting to get "leds" for under my car, and s2000 push buttons, i would get lowering springs, and some wheels off craigslist. just my 2 cents

Well unfortunately the '02 has already been purchased so there isn't s**t i can do about that. The intake/N1 I havn't seen any criticism over, looks like I just need to craigslist the led's lol...just checked and they're illegal anyways. Still iso info on the push button. They are cheap and it's just something I want I just can't seem to find one
