trying to turbo with keeping a/c

ok so i have been looking into this for awhile now and getting mixed answers. Some say the only way to turbo with a/c is to get a 5 bolt pattern turbo housing. and some say that is doesn't matter, its what manifold you have. So im kinda confused on what makes clearance issues the 4 or 5 bolt? or the type of manifold you use. i know that the turbo hits the block and thats why is doesnt fit . so i does look like if u run a different manifol to positon the turbo better it would fit right?

Im only asking cause a friend has an extra garrett t4/t4 57 trimm turbo he would sell me but its a 4 bolt pattern.

btw im driving a em1

I depends on the manifold and turbo. I would check with what manifold you have or the one you want to get to see if its ac compatible with the turbo you use. I have a spoolin performance log manifold in a 97 gsr swapped civic with 4 bolt that is ac compatible. http://www.spoolinperformance.com/spfab-manifold-p-58.html
oh ok so it depends if the manifold is ac compatible since it will positon where the turbo sits? so how do i know what manifolds i can use? i have a 4 bolt garret t3/t4 57 trim

you can look at my set up. i have a/c and p/s. did a lot of homework at start and didn't get far. even if the manifold is a/c compatible.... you need to know what size turbo. and then if you know that.... i need to know about the down pipe.
