Just brought my first civic! Its a 1993 civic coupe dx for 1300 the chick wanted a scooter lol has some cosmetic issues but thats why I'm here to learn from you guys and also take any ideas you guys have. I'm new to the whole honda world. WHAT EXACTLY IS JDM AND WHAT IS A RICER? Some dude on my block was like dont be a ricer with that car so I'm assuming thats bad lol but neways any ideas for this car? Best Rims Intakes whatever knowledge you guys have and all the wires in the engine is because of the beast alarm system ppl still too many parts in ny lol

JDM and ricers are what you make them really. Its your car you modify it however you want. Some are popular others arent. Its personal preference really but most people would say stay away from body kits and what not but if you like it go ahead :what:

I would personally go with AEM Cold air but thats me. Others would say just get a no name tube and k&n filter which is a no go for me since its not street legal.

But if your looking for ideas id say first things first...drop it

is there much of a difference in performance between cold or hot air intakes

I would do all the required maintenance depending how many miles you have of course. Got to make sure it's running in tip top shape. And you can always detail the car in and out, top to bottom.
