12v outlet decided to pop out

there should be a piece that screws on the back of the plug, see where its threaded? i would take the lower dash out(arm rest, center console, drivers side panel under steering wheel) and look for the threaded piece, it probably just came loose and fell down somewhere, based on how the hole looks I don't think it ripped through our anything. if you can't find it just go to a honda dealer and buy the lighter from your year, should only be about $10.

If you could reach under the dash from the side with your arm just do that. First if there is enough wire, pull the socket out slowly until you see the other part where it screws onto and move your hand under the dash so as to grab it. Maybe have a friend screw it while you hold it but i think you can do it by yourself. It has happened to me. I have done it myself.
