I finally sold my Sedan to a kid in buffalo, and bought this box. 97 Red EX coupe. She was in a state of neglect when i got her, but, as usual, I've been reversing the mess. Here's what she looked like when i bought her.

:( It made me sad to see a civic in such good shape lying around in a barn, so i bought it with a plan to flip it. It's been several months, and its still in my driveway! ha ha! I've been laboring the hell out of it. More pics of updates shortly.

After driving it home on a dealer plate, i started gutting the crap. There's a box full. Here's a list of junk that came off:

-Ebay Fog lights
-White face gauges
-Buddyclub Vtec contoller
-Quest Pedals
-Purple strobes in headlights & reverse lights
-R Racing floor mats
-Fuze Air/Fuel gauge screwed into driverside vent
-Fake carbon fiber pillar gauge pod with type X gauges
-Civic Badge superglued to dash
-Type S LEDs superglued to top & underside of dash
-Ebay strut bars on front & rear
-Blue dressup caps in engine bay
-Blue wire loom
-Flexpipe homemade ram air drywall screwed to filter
-Spectre Filter
-APC intake cut down and heat wrapped poorly
-Ebay header heat wrapped poorly
-Ebay front grill (Poor fitments)
-Blue ebay lugnuts
-Light up Squirter's
-Leaking Spoon radiator cap
-Spoon Brake Master Socks
-Red Ebrake handle installed with hammer (ebrake handle was demolished)
-C West Voltage stabilizer
-Blue Vtec solenoid cover
-Wiring for a system (Literally, chunks of wire taped together)

I'm sure i missed a ton of stuff, and the list of broken parts is just as long.

Removed alot of the blue wire wrap. Part of the ram air dissected.

End Of Day:


Looking better, but still no peach. More soon!

3 spoke ugly Honda wheels are off and my old sedan 14's are on. Got some time to paint the mirrors and wipers satin black. Removed headlights to be painted. Also removed the aftermarket front grill to make way for a custom made stock grill. The fit is alot better on factory grill. Civic skull shot!



Had to remount front air feed hole over giant square hole cut in front bumper. Will be removed when i find a new cover.

After getting the grill made & the lights painted, i gutted the interior cleaned & reinstalled everything. I somehow neglected to take pictures of it gutted tho. Dumb me. also got a rear bumper cover at a pull yard for $20 & ditched the 01+ junk cover. but heres some shots of her after all was said & done. BIG DIFFERENCE!



Sideskirts were off in these pictures. The previous owner spray painted them red. Wanted them satin black. Had to strip them, sand em flat with help from a few coats of bondo, and paint them. Pics of them finished soon!







Had a few stickers lying around. I can't wait to get a swap going on this car and have a good reason to buy a password intake system. Carshop is a local shop i buy alot of parts from.

Interior cleaned up. Still needs work but not bad. Going to swap dash to get rid of superglue mess. Got to find one at a pull yard.



rear bumper installed and tow hook from sedan. Side skirts on soon.

Did a quick Red LED Conversion on the gauges and heater control. Came out great!







Took about 2 hours for both. Plenty bright.

not sure what i want to do with it. Paint match it, paint it satin black, or mod a chrome on i got off a 4 door into a mesh grill. Probly try em all!

Installed the side skirts, cleaned & waxed the car. Very happy with them.











Mounting the exhaust i bought next. Stay tuned.

Seriously..get a new bumper. There is ZERO reason for that intake/hole in bumper.

I would get a new front bumper and paint it. That ram air piece is buggin me.

I wrote earlier that it is there to cover the hole in the current bumper. Already have new front bumper waiting to be painted. I want to get everything i need painted together before i jump into it. I agree its not my favorite.
