I'm on car-part dot com browsing for a used transmission. I have an Si (Canada) with automatic trans which is equivalent to the EX in USA (EJ8). VIN# details are in my username.

There are 4 choices when I'm selecting my transmission and they all bring up different batches.

1999 Honda Civic Transmission

AT 1.6L SOHC VTEC
AT 1.6L SOHC VTEC-E
AT 1.6L SOHC base
AT 1.6L SOHC CNG

Does anyone know which one is correct for me?

I think all D-Series transmissions are interchangeable. As long as you get the same type (hydraulic or cable). I hear the D16Z6 transmission is stronger than the y8 but the y8 has the shortest gearing.

Yes, any 92-00 d series transmission will work for his car.
The Y8 trans has better gearing and the manual version has welded steel shift forks, the z6 trans has aluminum ones.

The US 92-00 Civic Ex is a Si in Canada. The b16 equipped US 99-00 Civic SI's are SiR's in Canada.
