Hey there fellas. Well here some updated pics of my eg8. Havent done as much as I had planned; primarily since most of my funds are going towards my businesses and licenses for now. I got a z6 head that i picked up a few months back but it's just been sitting in the garage. Im busy all day and relaxing at night so havent installed it yet. Hopefully i can get to it soon since things are leveling out. Since my Graphic Design business picked up again, i decided to leave the wrap on for now. Some clients are interested in wrapping again, so they like to see what a finished product looks like. Heres the pics:

Heres a picture of the head along w/the necessary parts needed for the head swap. Just waiting.

Liking the coupe front end swap, I wanted to do that but I ended up getting used to the sedan bumper with my spoon lip. Did u wrap the lip as well?

Thanks. And no, its a CF lip, didnt wrap it. What i need to do also is get the coupe fenders cause the bumper doesnt line up right with the sedan fenders. its not horribly noticeable until you look at it close up. But i know its there and would like to fix it. It'll be nice to have some time off and work on the rides again. Great stress reliever.

So here are some pics of my Eg8 as it sits now. Im finally able to do the Z6 head swap. Since i now have a second vehicle as a dd, i can garage this one and tear into it. So im also gonna redo the interior, not sure how at this time. Here are the pics of it before any destruction:

These are the current seats i have in it:

To be replaced by these. Rsx leathers. I traded my Fat 5's for these:

These are the rims that are gonna go on it at the end. 17" BSA, black w/silver deep dish lip:

Pics once i started the tear down:

The Z6 head waiting to be installed:

And my little helper:

Head and everything else off:

Dang these are dirty. Cylinder bores look good though:

Headliner tore out and RSX seat placed for mock fitment:

The RSX seats definitely sit alot higher:

And the interior shot. That dirty a*s grey carpet has to go.

So this is all ive done for now. This is gonna be a slow and steady build. Want something to do when im off and have some time to myself. Im gonna take the wrap completely off and do a matte black wrap on the whole car, cheaper than a full paint job and looks just as gud. Ive got some ARP head studs/bolts and a new fuel rail/FPR on order as well as some injectors. Im also gonna order an underdrive pulley and also looking to get new motor mounts. Those are the plans as of now. Ill be getting parts as time goes on and the car progresses.

Thanks. On coupes and hatches, 17's may be a bit too much but sedans can get away w/it. They dont look as big since you got 4 doors. Now if you go 18's or beyond, then that can look a bit over the top. It also depends on the rims style. Once i get tires on all four rims, ill put them on and drop the car to see how it looks.

Thanks bro. Yeah the seats look alot better and they feel better when you sit in them since they are thicker. The only problem will be the mounting. I would like to keep the stock RSX rails, but imma have to do some fab work to make it work.

yeah, those rsx leathers are so nice. great choice
Thanks bro. What color carpet do you think would look good w/those seats. I wasnt sure if i should redo the seats or just do the interior to compliment the seats. :???:

My opinion would be black. I personally don't like tan carpet.
Thats what i was thinking. Keep the dash and door panels black as well as the carpet, keep the seats as they are and do the headliner in a light color.

Are you planing for a roll cage in the back or no? If your going for a cage I would do all black, tan seats and a tan/ish cage.

No, i wont be doing a roll cage. Ill be using this car as a dd as well meaning ill be driving the two kids around. Not sure theyll be too comfortable w/a cage in their face, lol.

Hey nice car dude Wat kind of fog lights are those I didnt know that they fit eg's
Thanks bro. Those are actually ek fogs. You have to tear into your bumper to make them fit. So if i wanted to get rid of them, i would have to get a completely new bumper, lol.
