Update 8/27/2011:
So today i took off the vehicle wrap from the trunk and quarter panel areas. Getting it prepped for the matte black vinyl. Heres some before/after pics:

So now i gotta scrub off the remaining adhesive from the wrap; its been on there since '05!!! I'll wrap the trunk first in matte black just to see how it looks and if the material is good quality. From there i'll wrap the doors, quarter panels and roof. I'll leave the fenders for last so i dont dirty them up. Im also thinking of going w/a CF hood. What do ya'll think?

So here is the first stage of degreasing the block. There are layers upon layers of crap on this engine. I plan on doing it all by hand so its definitely gonna take me some time.

So ive finished one side of the block/tranny for now as well as the pistons. Tomorrow ill work on the rest of the bay and take out the oil jet before i forget. After that, ill do a bit more detailing on the block/tranny and then move on to the new head. I like the progress so far.

Lol, thats an understatement. The second i walk out to the garage i start sweating. Its good to be able to finally do this project. Its relaxing just getting your hands dirty while drinking a cold one and see progress build up.

So today i finished up the left side of the bay, excluding the alternator and did a bit more detailing on the block. I would love to do a wire tuck but it just seems like a real P.I.T.A. Or even some of the hoses.
