Ok, so there is this 2005 Honda civic that I really want to buy. I first saw it on craigslist and was told that it was in a fender bender by the first owner. The first owner sold it to the guy who is now trying to sell it. It has 45k miles on it is now being sold for $8000.........well he wanted 10,500 but I negotiated him down to 8. I went to his house and test drove the car and it drove as clean as a whistle. Only thing is, I ran it's VIN and retrieved it's car facts and of course, as stated, it was in fact in a prior accident with the first owner. It was then rebuilt repaired was deemed a salvage title brand I think and sold to this new guy. So after test driving I looked under the hood of the car and there appeared to be some repairs done to the round bulky silver thing in each corner under the hood. Of course I don't know the significance of them so I don't know if I should take a gamble buying it. Besides that I would have easily driven it right out of his drive way but that factor restrained me from doing so. Experts, PLEASE offer your expertise and give me the names of the silver things in each corner as well as the significance of them along with your opinion of this matter. Thanks in advance.
