CH33V5's Slow '99 EJ8 Build Thread

Ok time for updates! So the green Civic is a 99 EJ8 with 136k miles and an almost full Si conversion, just no lip, B16 or grill. I picked her up for $3860 in Boston. The story how we got it was some bulls*** but the deal worked so word. Anyway it came with some goodies. It came lowered on Eibach springs, riding on 15" Rota Torque wheels with new Dunlops, Black housing headlights with foggies and side marker lights, a 7 inch Kenwood TV radio, and a Viper alarm system. The rest of it was bone stock but in good condition for sure. The things I got on the way are Megan Racing drift spec exhaust, DNA Racing high flow cat, gonna take the header off my silver Civic, got a CAI from eBizzle, and stickers haha. The things I've gotten and already done are full tune up by NGK and BSD, Change the oil, Installed a Mugen Valve cover and short shifter with knob, started wire tucking, and just cleaning under the hood. But enough of the chit chat, here's some pics from the other night and yesterday.
Looks good, but hopefully you plan on swappin for at least a B16 at some point in time, don't really see the point of lookin like an Si without the power, but anyway gratz on the new wheels.
You made out good, loving that color plus that parts list, good deal bro.
....but it doesnt look like an si :shrug: the closest thing is the wing but those were on some ex coupes too.
It is a pretty good pick up though OP, and you better clean the bay! Haha
Haha I'm getting there man. I got the exhaust today and Mugen lip, the lip isn't gonna work haha, going with the CTR lip instead. I also decided when it's garaged this winter (using the silver one for a beater) I'll be boosting it. Unless I come up with a better plan. But I plan on doing a lot of saving for the 5ish months she's in hiding. So come April I'll decide then what the money will be spent on.
kinda wish you would gotten a better sounding exhaust, but im just not personally a fan of the drift spec.
I'll just have to see in person. I love the style and it seems the best bang for buck. The video's I've watched too make it sound pretty deep. Hopefully this weekend she'll be on and I'll let you guys know. Post a video too.

If you would READ! Haha nah its a header that I got from my silver EJ, not sure what brand I got it for my birthday, but the cat is a DNA racing high flow and the cat back is a Megan Racing Drift Spec cat back.
Haha I got some Euro kids to help me out this weekend, I'll let you guys know. Damn Dubbers... <3
