It's got to be a sensor, I reset the ecu after I installed the new O2 sensors & let the car run for 20 mins to get adjusted, well I'll keep plugging away at it till it's fixed.

Yeah too bad ya can't plug in one of those diagnostic comp into it and get some info, but if I remember right the check engine light has to be on for it to read anything.

Yea unfortunately the CEL needs to be on to get a reading of any issues but I could have it inspected at the shop I go to & trust & see if they're diagnostic finds something.

So here's the update, had to fill up after light came on & drove for like 7 miles with the light on & my mileage was at 249 miles, filled the tank with a little over 10 gal gas so I got 23-24 mpg this trip.

Well took off IACV & it was super dirty like gun powder was dropped in it, what a pain to get off then back on, tight space but now shiny & new gasket so will begin new test to see if mpg gets better. Got a new PCV & will install tomorrow, ran out of daylight, also added some new art on my windshield.

What head do you have again? If it's a y8 intake it's on the side with 2 bolts holding it on & you clean all the carbon build up in the 2 holes & replace the gasket, mine was different, it has 4 bolts that hold it on & was not in a good place to remove it from the TB.

Nice, my wife has a CRV with a K series in it, I told her it's mine if anything happens to it. What kind of stuff have you done, any problems or issues?

We got it back in May when I got back to the states from Guam... I have my Cobra vert but she wanted this and I had to wait on my car to get here.... The young guy that had it before us kinda riced it out a little... Supposedly it has coil-overs but I have yet to get under it cuz it's too damn low... It has the 800K HID kit.. I just had to rewire that.. omg.. what a nightmare... little 3 foot sections of like 16 gauge wire taped together... I replaced all that wiring with 12 gauge wire and used actual connectors where needed... it's sort of tucked now... can't see any wires now ... Has a neat looking front bumper with some projector fogs... has a wanna be type R front lip that I need to change out.. it's wired to the bumper and screwed down where it cracked and broke on one side... the list goes on... it has a cheapy Spectre pipe on it but it doesn't look bad.. just need to do some work.... has header and decent exhaust although I hate that fart can exhaust noise.... it's not one of those but can't tell what brand it is... I have to get some ramps to do the bottom O2 trick to get rid of the CEL on it.. I replaced the top one in the header but not the bottom.. I might just get me another $30 Denso from Amazon (universal and it plugged right it) ... We'll see.... Just little things .. new fenders and a carbon fiber hood need to be bought.. the fenders are kinda banged up but not horrible.... Right now I'm fixing the stuff that I have found wrong... rewiring the stereo and amp as well.... lol... has some ok rims.. think they are the X-002's... thats what they look like.. ummm... 16's I think...

I think it has one of those test pipes where the cat should be... it doesn't look like any cat I've ever seen.. it just looks like a straight pipe welded on there but has a bung for the O2 sensor.. I can see that much.. lol...

Yeah it is most likely a test pipe then if it is one then the o2 sensor could work fine and it will still throw a check engine light
test pipe = thrown check engine light
Defouler trick will make the check engine light go away i have a test pipe on my car with the defouler trick done to it works perfect no check engine light

Yup... after searching around saw that little neat-o trick.. got some new plugs, wires, rotor and that disk thing (rotor cap?) coming in... it was boggin and I think it running rich, so I'll try that after I get the parts on and reset the ECU... funny thing is after I replaced the first O2 sensor in the header, the CEL went out for about a month.... Then came back on and my gas mileage went in the crapper.... so I figure, get a new one and do the defouler.... this thing has 180K on it and the plug wires are stock.... I pulled the plugs this last weekend and they were all about .55 ... that was the lowest one.. lol... all the way up to .60 so knocked them down to .45 for right now till the new ones get here... I was like wow.... those are pretty worn down....we'll see after I get all the parts on and get that defouler trick going.. I might wait on that tho... see if this cures the boggin problem.... and looking at the headers on here... Think mine has a 4/2 type... might be a 4/2/1 tho.. lol...
