hey,

so im new to the forum. just sold my evo rally car, moving to circuit and am building a EG civic.
i dont live in the states its for the single track we have in our country.

i own a s2000 as my DD but im new to the honda performance world.
im planning on building a NA 240-250whp B16 motor... if thats even possible
i know thats going to take a good amount of work, and im prepared for that.

need help in figuring out how i can get that hp and if there are any examples of those engines
so i can see how they did it.

where could i start a post for some help?

thanks much guys

Well first off, welcome to CC!

Second, post pics of ur cars!

Third, anything is possible with the right amount of money!

Are u stuck on na power? That's a lot of work to get that much hp out of a na b16, but it is doable. Forced induction is your best bet. Also might wanna look into an h2b swap or frankenstein motor combinations!

Welcome to ClubCivic. Id love to see pics of your ride. And a K series motor will bring you where you want to go, you should look into that.

yes, im hell bent on NA. lol
i know its going to cost, but thats what i want.
im curious as to exactly how much its giong to cost though.
and what will be needed, i know that everything is going to ahve to be aftermarket.
but can someone give me a ball park figure as to what parts will cost?

heres a pic of my s2k

and a pic of my old rally car.

i actually just bought a stock EG civic.
so going to build a fully race prep car from scratch :D
will make a project post later.

Can I ask why you went FWD for circuit? The built EVO and a built S2000 will out-perform a modified civic.

Welcome though....

Lol ^ this guy. I mean um yea I'll date u to drive ur car. Haha it's funny cause normally girls try to date me for my car now I know how they feel. Lmfao.

Why b16? I'd recommend an itr or gsr fully built with a b16 tranny and la 5th gear so u can get higher top end for staraights but real close gearing for corners. That's what I was gonna do b4 I sold my civic for my new tc. I am huge on corners btw. Autox <3

I want that evo

I think your power goal has been hit on a couple occasions with race gas and some serious cams and compression

lol guys,

come on...u should know you cant change a womans mind.
i will never track my s2k, and the civic will be the race car for now.

ive chosen a honda for several reasons. i am not a fan of FWD either. but it will do.
this is my frist fwd track car.

no one has built a 250whp B16 from where i am. so that is what im going to do.
id love to see some posts of previous B16s that made that mark.
another thing, i will be using race gas.

can anyone post links to engine builds that made that region of hp?
thanks

thanks for the response! that i think is as helpful as it gets.

though im not stoking the engine at all. it needs to be a true 1600 for the class im running.
around how much do you think all that would run?

Well I'm a woman, and as much as I agree w/ you, when there are more experienced, their opinions/experience are a heavy factor in my decision making.

You stated you're doing circuit racing. So oval track or auto x? A few people are a little confused as to what your intentions are.

well without a stroker kit 250 is going to be rough at 1.6L true displacement unless you run C12 or LMP and bring the compression to almost 15:1.. but in your class, would there be fuel limitations as well?
