diming lights

Hi so I just got a 199 civic si not to long and I've noticed that when im driving and i have the head lights on and I go to open my window or close it the lights dim down. Soo I was woundering what could he the problem and what can be done to fix it, any help will be appreciated thanks

That's normal. Happens on most cars. I wouldn't worry about it.

only thing you could do to help that is to do the big 3 upgrade. or its possible that the guides the window rolls on are old and need some new silicon on them to help them slide up and down better.

increasing the wire size in three locations in your engine bay:

battery negative to car frame:
transmission to car frame:
and last is alternator positive to battery positive

Check battery voltage and alternator output, if either one is out of spec, you will need to charge/replace it.
