EP3 Shift Knob Questions

Hey guys, I'm Doug. Got me a 2003 Civic Si Hatch a while ago, and it still has the stock shift knob on it. There's no problem with it, I like it a little, it's just...well, the 1-2-3-4-5-R on top has worn completely off, and it's starting to wear. I saw some awesome knobs at some auto stores in my area, thought I'd save time and money from buying online by just getting one there, but I have just one question:



Does anyone know the stem diameter of a 2003 Honda Civic Si shift knob? I don't have an outside micrometer at my disposal, so i cant measure it accurately... :(

Any information would be GREATLY appreciated :D

Thanks SO MUCH, @New Vega, this was really helpful. Yeah, you've got a point, weighted knobs are much better. I'm not going to buy a cheapo, they actually had ones there upwards of $60, weighted and nice looking, too =)

I picked up the tall PWJDM shift knob for my EP3. Love it so much its going in my S. :thumbs up

just make sure its a good brand and such. auto stores will up sell stuff by 70-80%. online you can get stuff at much more reasonable prices and have a much larger selection. your choice though. quality is quality either way.

Ordered one online =) u were right, i did save a ton of money. I'll try to post a pic of it sometime within the next month. It won't be here for a while, got the cheapest shipping possible :p

sweet, u have an EP3, too? :D I've had a hard time finding ppl on this site with EP3s, hmu sometime i love talking about cars and s**t :p
