Ugh... I have a rant from today.
Over the past few days I havent been feeling 100%. I'm sore and weak. My nose is stuffed, I have a headache and I have a slight ear ache.
My co-worker, who shall remain unnamed, closed last night on his own. It isnt a big deal closing alone its just easier with someone else to help. So he closes, leaving at 10:30. He couldnt get all the carts in because he was too busy visiting his girlfriend who works over in the fasion department.
Today I worked 7am-3:30pm. I was driving through the parking lot at 6:45 to park and there are carts EVERYWHERE. We have 900 carts total and about 800 were outside. I punch in 5 minutes early go outside right away and get as many as I can. I got about 4 hours worth of work done in 2 hours. Putting extra carts right outside the door.
The same co-worker worked 10-6 and his girlfriend did too. I went on my hour lunch at 11 with the cart machine plugged in to charge because it was completely dead. I come back at 12 and nothing moved. He didnt push any of the carts I brought up inside, didnt move the machine, and didnt even go outside.
He came outside at 12:45 to start work, then turns around and goes inside. He didnt even do a line of carts with me. I decided to follow him at a distance to see where and what he does. I follow him straight to his girlfriend where he sits down and makes out with her for 25 minutes.
When i asked him where he went he said he got caught up doing a cardboard bail, which he didnt, and I know because i followed him. He took a 15 minute break and was in the lounge for 45 minutes.
I then looked at the schudule for today and tomorrow. He was closing today, and then opening the next day. I usually go out of my way to make an easy night/day for someone but decided I was going to screw him over after he royally screwed me over the last few days.
I didnt charge the machine and it was completely dead to the point it wouldnt move. So he will have to deal with what he did to me.
