um...the car scene.....
So you want out of the car scene. You've been out of the car scene, for a year now.
Not entirely. I have a heavily modified car. Out, means nothing modded, and no care to do so.
If anyone wants to give me a black FX35, I'll gladly take it. Just tint it, upgrade the stereo, done. And no, not a brand new one...they're fugly.
Alright Well, i just learned not everyone's definition of words are the same.
A car being modify is just a car being modify. I think that it is not the car what determines whether a person is in the scene or not. People always say,' I want out of the scene' I never hear people say 'My car wants out of the scene'. You want to modify your FX35, so does that mean you;ll be in the scene, no. not at all, you just want to change a few things on your car. Being in the scene takes dedication to constantly purse the culture, a Car by itself can not do that. So.. i m going to say that since you haven't modified your car in a year, you've been out of the 'scene' for a year now.
Everyones got their own interpretation of words. I would consider myself still in the scene even though I haven't bought anything in a couple of years. Only because I actively participate in events/meets and have the desire to modify my car. I just don't have the money to throw at it.

In that case, I haven't even been to a meet in 3 years. When someone starts speaking cars to me, I get this lovely glaze over my face and try to change the topic. Just b/c I know of them, doesn't mean I WANT to talk about them.
Hell...most of the time I don't even talk about cars on here. I guess I'm the person that likes cars, but doesn't care. I know about them from a prior hobby, and know about them to fix it myself so I don't have to go to a shop.
