i think it has nothing to do with being young. It has to do with how you carry yourself on the road, and how you respond to the officer after being pulled over. I can't imagine you had a smile on your face the whole time and addressed him as "sir" right before you flipped him off. Drive safely, and under the speed limit....and you won't get pulled over. If you do, act respectfully.
That being said, even if he was picking on you for speeding, it's well deserved. It's like stopping the 86 year old grandma to strip search at the airport....she's not causing trouble, no 86 year old woman ever has at an airport. It's a certain demographic that causes trouble. Teens are the most likely to cause reckless accidents due to inexperience. Don't drive over the speed limit, you won't have a problem.
