the only thing i would know to tell you about picking / finding a shop, is go around and get quotes, see if that includes any sort of warrety, look around to see how busy they are and how clean the shop is, because as a good rule of thumb, the cleaner a place is the more better they will treat your car, the busyer they are generally is a sign that they do quality work.
then see which one you think is the best choise.
in my personal practice sense i do most of my work myself IF i do drop my car off with a shop, i look at the shops, cleanlyness, customer volume, price, whats included with that price, time it will take to complete the repair. and if the person that im dealing with is trying to put on a "song and dance" sort-of speak...
then based on my impression of the shop and its staff ill decide who to go with.
