Anyone else have any trouble with these? I've had them since the 5th grade. I pass anywhere from 3-6 a year now. I don't drink any carbonated beverages, I try and refrain from a lot of salt, I try and refrain from a lot of sugar. I drink A TON of water every day, and still get kidney stones.

Been rough here lately. Just felt the need to vent.

I have not but my dad has and a few friends have. Know what they went through. Best of luck to you.

*knock on wood* I haven't had them. Keep up the water, add some exercise and increase your amount of citric acid in your diet. oranges, lemons, coconut milk, etc... break those things down.

Damn, that really sucks. I had similar symptoms one time but it ended up being something else. I've never heard of it happening like that at such a young age.

Yeah they told me I was way too young when I first got them. It was the summer from 5th to 6th grade. They still tell me I'm too young.

It's not fun. I used to go to the hospital all the time for them, but with a 200 dollar emergency co pay that got expensive quick. I used to go so much that I would tell them what I had and it was the same routine every time. Toradol (sp?), morphine, and Saleen in my IV. I'd stay doped up and they'd continue to flush me out until I was good to go. Now I've been forced to find alternative ways to keep the pain at bay. I'm not going to speak openly about it because it's such a controversial subject but I do what works for me. Relieves the accompanying headache, stomachache, and pain in general.
