Says I'm logged on when I know I'm not

For about a month now, maybe a bit longer, the site has been 'marked and last log in' was at a time when I know I wasn't on my laptop and/or phone with Tapatalk. It's usually around a certain time of the day, or while I'm asleep.

I have changed my password almost every week since this has been happening, and this is the ONLY forum I'm on that I'm having this issue.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I correct when it's a MODERATOR logging into my account and being nosy even though smods/admins don't need to log in to someone's account to see everything....?

Yes, I do it on every forum I'm on. Today it said my last log in was at 757am today. Yea...no. I was asleep then.

That's BS, only b/c I've been an Admin and Smod before. I and others of those titles had the abilities to do it on much smaller boards with much smaller servers and not all the options of this board.

I just find it VERY suspicious that it's ONLY on this forum, even after I change my password weekly. I don't share my laptop with anyone, it's password protected, as is my phone.
This started happening when someone got all pissy with me on here...

Actually, and unfortunately, there is a vB mod that lets admins (and admins can let super admins do this as well) log into user accounts. It's technically designed to be used to test forum functions, accesses/permissions, etc. Even though there is a lot of tension on here amongst certain members, I very much highly doubt anyone is abusing it.

Invisible mode is for others to not see me, but I can see all activity about myself.

Well, according to the last activity feature, that account is being logged in. hella strange! Never happen to me, strangest thing would probably be post times. it confused me because i think i've had it set at EST.

IKR? It's pretty obvious someone is logging into my account, even when I constantly change passwords, and this is the only site I'm having issues with. I mean, I'm not a computer genius by any means...but this is pretty simple, and well...again obvious.

I'm not paranoid at all; I have nothing to hide. Anyone that knows me knows I have no filter; I keep hardly anything to myself. When someone's logging into my account it marks the forums read; therefore when I actually log in, I have no clue what was last read.

Also, why does someone need to do it? Admins and Smods have the ability to see everyone's account info; why log in? It's clearly someone on the staff b/c my password is changed weekly now.

Then you should know that it's not bs. We can NOT get passwords unless an admin is doing real dirty work (hash / algorithm comparison crap, etc, which is actually illegal) There IS a mod to login on users accounts though, like John said. however we really cannot obtain passwords.

That is very weird that it's happening though, so....

Is there a way to check IP addys for log ins?

If there is some sort of server log, Justin may be able to. But as a green, we can only view IP's per post if we have mod access to that section.

Last year when I had to press charges on a member he was able to provide some information for me, so I'm guessing he's able to do the same.

It's raising more suspicion b/c apparently I'm the only one having the issue here...
