As much as I am gonna regret saying this on this website, but I am trying to replace my current EM1 with one in better condition. I know it sounds completly retarted, but it's what I'm headed toward.

no problem. just be sure to transfer some stuff from your current car to the new one, like a shift knob or something. just something to keep the "spirit" of the other car alive inside your mind. little things that will make you smile when you drive.

as for the gf part, what's stopping ya? quit wishing and start talking to people. while many say the "hey, i just had to tell you i think you're absolutely beautiful" pickup line may be creepy, many girls are actually quite flattered by it and it can lead to more. hell, it's worked for me in the past and i don't think i'm a good looking guy (i'm guessing many others may agree lol)

Haha yea i guess. I'm pretty shy though. I tend to keep to myself alot. Maybe I could try to be a little more approachable. And the only thing I would transfer over to the new whip would be the engine but that doesnt make a lick of sense to do

the more you do it, the less uncomfortable it'll be. it's like getting pulled over by the cops. the first few times are really intimidating. after a few more, and your heart doesn't even change pace. i'm guessing you're probably afraid of rejection. you know what? it doesn't matter. rejection happens. just keep moving on. what you're needing right now is experience talking to women. just start up conversations, they don't have to be pick ups... it's about getting you relaxed and comfortable talking to strangers to get your foot in the door. just remember, be yourself. be confident (but not arrogant).

I dont know why cause i dont think im good looking or anything, but i have only been single short periods of time in my life from 15 years old on and even then its cause i didnt want a gf, been with the current for a year and a half though couldnt be happier she actually makes me a better person. And yeah the way I look at the whole dating thing is I've been shot down so many times that I really just never took it to heart anymore. Just had to develop the whole "f**k it, plenty of other fish in the sea" mentality.

I asked my fiance out 3 years and 3 months ago. I wasn't sure I'd get anywhere but look at where I am now.

So don't worry, if she says no, then maybe it's not meant to be.
