I didn't know to replace in pair but I got the master on order and should be here tuesday! Well atleast my lines will be all sorts of clean when im done. The fluid was jet black :shock: And gives me another chance to lube up that pivot point some more now that you mention it :D
I know what you mean. My clutch fluid used to be the original fluid that came with the car 12 years and 220k miles ago :lol:.

You're going to pull the transmission? You may want to look into new parts if so. Clutch/flywheel/pressure plate, rear main seal, throw out bearing, and possibly clutch fork (if it looks severely worn) to name a few.

Oh no, I miss read your post. I thought you meant the pivot point at the slave cylinder lol But thanks for the advice when I do! Never did my own clutch before but I've gotten to be a whole lot more comfortable working on my car than before :cool:

:thumbs up. A lot of stuff really isn't hard to do. It's just that initial fear you have to get over. I was terrified of changing my clutch and flywheel but once my friend had it all off, I realized how extremely simple it really is.
