This video is a segment from a longer video which I voluntarily made as part of a job application after I graduated from university in April 2011.

I ended up receiving interviews/offers from multiple companies. The company that I chose to work for (which is where I still am) is not the same company I made the video for although I received an offer from them as well. All in all, everyone seemed to enjoy the video and I would encourage everyone to try something unique when applying for a job! Especially during a time when it's difficult to compete with other candidates to secure a position.

Actually, not to brag or anything but I received more than one job offer.

Since when does a sense of humor have anything to do with qualifications? People generally want colleagues who are easy to get along with. And if for some reason they didn't, then I'm glad they wouldn't hire me because I wouldn't want to be in that environment. It's a win-win, really.

I'd hire you in an instant. Great idea. Very funny. Showed your personality. Showed your qualifications. Showed that you have a varied skill set and a life philosophy that will help you continue to advance, and so much more.

lmao great video and very creative. It's silly and though it had to be censored in some parts, it's not so over the top that it would make you seem obscene.

I would definitely hire you if you came in with something like this. I've been through so many boring interviews myself...I've been asked, and I'm sure most others have been in similar situations before, all the same questions most of which have no meaning or provide real value to their own company. None would dig down and show who I am and what I can offer as a person and employee.

IMO, everyone is trainable and you can easily read their resume, education, etc... Why not try and find out who the applicant really is? This video seems to show his interests, hobbies, lifestyle, etc all without getting the potential employer in trouble(I know there are personal questions employers just cannot ask so this gets around that).
