So after spending copious amounts of money on diagnostics and taking my car to three shops one being one of the top rated online and another being HONDA I took it to the sole authorized distributor of mugen products in the US which just happens to be 20 minutes from my house. As it turns out Advanced auto parts sold me a faulty refurbished dizzy. I went back and got a replacement and that too was faulty. Finally after spending some time on the phone with Advanced they ordered me a brand new dizzy which cured all. So I followed all the right paths but was screwed by advanced and lost a total of about a $1000 because of their faulty products:evil:
Good news is now the car is running and I've spent a lot of time at King sitting in the lobby looking at the beautiful mugen products that are just sitting around and gained some ideas.

...BTW their Mugen EP is f**king sickkkk!

thanks juice, my next buy is gotta be rims. I'm going with either red GT3s, bronze, or gold circuit 8s then some thin side moldings and I'll be done with the exterior. This summer will bring the JDM GS-R swap and some suspension additions. I'm really happy with the progress so far I've been wanting to do am eg for a long time and Its coming together nicely!

This is why I buy most of my replacement parts at Honda. Not to say Honda is perfect but I've heard way too many people b***h about Non-Honda parts. Good to hear you got things fixed but it sucks you had to go the hard route getting there.

S & S Research and Honda both said they tested the dizzy and it was fine so they had no clue what the issue was. Honda was good about it and didnt charge me since they didnt diagnose anything where as S & S was like "Yeah we couldn't figure it out but we tested the distributor and that was working fine. The issue is probably the ECU. Now give us $220!"
