ok ive had my lx for about 2 weeks like it gos great ect just dont like how quite it is. made the mistake one all ready bumping the starter while it was allready runing lol.
its got all the factory exhaust. Id like to just change the muffler to some thing different. No loud crazy fart cans but something kinda cheap lol. ive seen a few youtube videos of adding a 8th gen si muffler and i can get one for 80 but idk. i just want some thing with some tone.

If you want something cheap, either find something like an 08 Si muffler or you're going to end up with a loud crazy fart can.

yonaka axleback?

Probably will have to buy the entire system but very reasonable. Worth it IMHO

Get a custom setup made with a Maxflow muffler. You won't regret it.

My review on mine
http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=209486&highlight=Maxflow

This thing is great and worth every single cent. Nice low tone, very low key, no rasp, no drone at all. I can talk to my gf without yelling. No headaches from droning. Can listen to my music without having to turn it up all the way. At idle the noise from the motor is much louder and even at low revs it has more noise from the motor than the exhaust. Much less concerned about being pulled over since the tip looks almost stock and you can't see the muffler at all.

Everyone talks up the Yonaka exhaust but I've seen one installed and fitment wasn't great. Not to mention the design and tip is a bit weird looking to me, looks strangely similar to a lot of the cheap a$$ eBay exhausts. I've only seen videos of people revving online and they don't impress me much. Besides that, the Yonaka company as a whole seems sketchy.

Fitment for the yonaka was perfect on my em1. If you heard and saw it in person you would be fine with it trust me.

As for me too. Bolted right up perfect. It was worth the money especially if you dont have hundreds to dump on an exhaust. Very reasonable price and a good product.

OP, I just saw an yonaka axleback on honda-tech just the other day, since you were just looking for that.
