Pulled over and ticketed....

I just now got ticketed for not having my muffler. I still have my muffler that fell off. Plan is to get a wire hanger, put the muffler back on the car then bend the wire around the muffler and the frame of the car now, the rubber mount that it mounts into, then attach another wire hanger to the area where it welds into, and make sure that you cant see its not connected to the car. Anyone think it will work.

^^ give it a try lol Just got a ticket for 79 in a 65. Was on my last point for my NC license. Expecting the 30 day suspension letter in the mail any day now..

If it looks like it's connected but it's not - it's still going to be clearly audible.

I cant afford to buy a new muffler atm. If i could JBWeld it together, but the resonator(I think thats what its called it sets inside the muffler) is gone.

jb weld wont work..auto stores sell 3 inch collectors and get the U clamps and just connect it that way
