I personally have no experience with that swap so i cant tell u how to time it.

Im sure its probably the same as any other d series but i cant be sure.

Im sure someone will pop in and help, but for the time being, lose the e attitude or ur not gonna get any help...

How do you know it's the timing? Is the distributor in correctly or is it 180 out (meaning upside down)? Are the spark plug wires in the correct order?

cam timing and ignition timing are WAY different, and you cant put the dizzy on upside down
Never had one of these off, just going with past vehicle experience. Are these notched to prevent this?

Never mind. Google search tells me that the end of the distributor is notched to match the end of the camshaft. NOT possible to 180 out if it is all the way in.

Timing this is the same as any d series engine. If you have a timing cover still installed on the block then you should be able to find your way around the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley. Line up the marks on the pulley with the marks on the cover then line up the head (tdc) by the "UP" mark on the camshaft replace the belt and tighten tensioner. I don't know if a writeup is anywhere in the forums but I guarantee that Google will be a good help as a visual aid.
