no way i can make the spring meet this year since i have a wedding to attend that same week... we'll see when/where they decide to do the summer and fall meets this year. i still remember going down to atlanta motor speedway for nopi nationals back in 99 or 00. so much fun!! the whole 9 hour cruise down was filled with rides headed that way and we got to see a couple porsches do some highway pulls down i-65... boy i miss those days. i got to meet stephan papadakis there too as well as checking out his h23 fwd AEM drag civic (fastest civic at the time - even if it was a tube chassis)

I've always wanted to go to ATL, other than just for connecting flights. I can't make the spring but I'm off during the summer so I'm sure I can make a few meets. I know the BF has been to IA in ATL a few times....maybe I'll tag along.

That's what I've heard. I really don't want to go there for cars though..I want to check the city out. I'd prolly fly and just take public transit everywhere.

thats why we stay for about 3 or 4 days....your not always in a rush to do things and you can actually enjoy the city and go out site seeing and what not, you should really go this year!

No, I'm pretty sure I won't drive. I prefer to take public transit so I don't worry about parking and/or traffic. Best way to site-see is like that.
