Yup good ole hmotors. All the recent swaps have been coming super wrapped. Guess they changed their standards. I'm happy with it.

yeah, i'm a neat freak at times. I was anxious to unwrap it. My wife was with me and was like, uhmm shouldn't you take a pic of this and that lol.

I know right! If I can get these big purchases out of the way, it'll be easy to pick up the lil odds and ends down the road like sensors, hoses, lines and all that. kpro and a Trans are going to kick my wallets ass.

Big money now goes to the trans, mounts, kpro, a header, shifter and cables, and then prepare to be nicked and dimed to death. I'm gonna do a K, but it won't be in the RHD I don't think. I'll get another hatch. I've got some really cool plans for the car I do it to. So different, even in the honda world.

The $500 and less parts don't bother me so much. I've sorted out all the little bits that I'll need that are specific for my swap plus the things I want to upgrade. It'll be worth it to have soo many brand new parts

The overall price is alright with me. With the things I want it'll be around 8000+ my only concern is saving. I hate waiting until I have over a grand to spend. Its not so hard to save up 500 here and there from my photography.

8000? I think i better stick with bseries for my first swap lol. But your also gonna run EKK2 correct whhich requires the eg subframe?
If i did kswap id stay with EKK1 i dont wanna go to find all that. However i noticed yesterday at the junk yard they had a 5th gen ex coupe fully in tact if you want ill pull anything you need

I'm driving the price up from things like, intake manifold swap, large throttle body instead an OEM one, billet this and that that isn't necessary, fancy wiring instead of doing it myself, aftermarket clutch and flywheel and a bunch of fancy bits instead of just making the swap run. I could cut thousands off by just getting it running but that's no fun.


And I thought about the ekk1's but then you have intake manifold fitment issues outside of the prc, ground clearance is worse (I don't wanna be too high off the ground) and the axle angle looks horrendous and trends to bust axles easy due to the angle. I want to avoid doing things twice
