Really? A zip tie? That's insane. Glad it was an easy fix, did you keep the Greddy intake mani?

oddly enough, this happened to the 89 mustang notch back i had long ago. the lid to a sealant tube somehow fell down the intake and got stuck on a valve causing it to stick. took us a few days to track down the issue... lol

Thanks guys! Yeah it was probably the most random thing I've ever seen haha. But at least we got it figured out. We're gonna be spending the whole day working on the cars today to get them going. Hopefully we'll have some pics of both the cars out today.

I also ordered a bunch of stuff to clean up the engine bay along with a new radiator and hoses. I'll update when I have stuff coming in ;)

Yup we did keep the intake mani. For the one test drive we could actually use it on, we could tell a noticeable power gain.
Here's during the installation

Just an off brand, haha. I have bigger motor plans later on, and didn't want to waste a huge chunk on a proper radiator that I won't be able to use in a few months, so figured I'd just go off brand.

Small update. We finally got my old roomates car running so it's out of my garage, yay! We got it running a few days ago but it just ran like crap after the first test drive (again..) and turned out to be a vacuum plug we had on a nipple on the underside of the mani popped off under load. Once we capped that and properly clamped it on, it's perfect!

Here's two pics of him washing his car for the first time in months with our good friend Derrick and his zenki S14

We worked on my car quite a bit, but I'm having a lot of trouble making my Enkei's clear the F2's up front. I can roll straight, but as soon as I turn the wheel starts grinding on the collars of the coils which is a terrible noise lol. But I'll get it goin soon. Here's a few pics of when I had it out:

And I washed my car yesterday for the first time in months...in my garage. lol

More updates soon!

Yeah haha, it's pretty cool to see the resemblance for sure. Thanks for the comment!
I'll get everything painted as soon as I get a new hood/fender in which will hopefully be soon. And so far so good, but I've only driven around my neighborhood on them haha. They did seem a bit bouncy on full soft though.

Got the 180 goin today...I've been driving it all day. I forgot how much I love this car...and I've never really experienced anything with the F2's yet, but might I say, they ride amazing. I have the settings on 20 up front and 12 in the rear and it rides great. A little bouncy, but nothing it can't correct within 1 bounce haha.

We did a little photoshoot with my old roomate and his Silvia, pics will come later. But now...it's time to get ready to hit up some bars!
