Ok so i was uninstalling my aftermarket deck. After pulling it all out and taking apart my dash i had left the exposed wires out of were the radio normally is ( my first dumb mistake ) lost track of time and had to work. Attached my battery and started my car and my gauge lights were just on but i hadnt turned on any of my lights:?: so i went to pull the exposed wires out from my dash to see if that was it ( second dumb mistake ) and two wires touched and sparked and i lost my gauge lights, climate control lights, and i hooked my radio back up anyway and im pretty sure that too. Replaced the fuses, and they still dont test to be on when i test them,

so i i burn out somthing deepeer in the system??? i cant see how fast im going or my rpms at night and i need help asap please!!!!

The lights are controlled by Red and Red/Blk wires. Make sure they are no longer exposed and shorting. Then replace 7.5A dash fuse 30 and turn the light switch on and dial the dimmer switch to full intensity. Do the lights now work?

Hey not to thread jack or anything but. I bought a car with same problem. Lights don't work. Fuses are all good. Power to back or dimmer switch. Any suggestions.

Pry the dimmer switch out of the dash and unplug it. In the wire harness connector, use a piece of wire to jump the red wire to the black wire terminal. Turn the light switch on. Do the cluster and climate control lights now work?

Aftermarket radio? Unplug the radio, cluster and taillights and then redo the test. Does this prevent the fuse from blowing?
