ok i have a 2000 civic si, has a DC header and a RSR muffler? i am wanting to upgrade the piping. first off i want to avoid the raspy high pitch exhaust. "RICY" sound. will the muffler i currently have make a deep sounding exhaust? (can post/send a pic if needed) Also i am going to turbo the car so what size piping should i use? help is greatly appreciated.

3" piping is good for turbo and with tht being said you should research turbo exhaust systems for a Honda civic. You can run 2.5" but if your pushing more then 10lbs of boost it will probably restrict your horsepower.

that would be the most boost i would run, I'm probably doing a alb set up. as far as the sound goes, (before turbo) will 2.5 inch piping make the ricer crap sound?
