Idle Issues

Engine dies at idle when warm. Fine when cold. Cleaned IACV, didn't really help. New throttle cable, adjusted it, now it doesn't die, just idles at about 100 rpm when warm. Person I bought it from said it didn't do it until it sat for a minute and had to replace the battery.

Any help would be appreciated.

Chipped P06 ECU

Edit: Just checked codes 7, 14. Should probably look into those to fix it.

Don't adjust the idle speed by tightening the throttle cable. Instead fix the codes. Start by resetting the ECU to see whether both codes return after running the engine.

Why do you have a chipped ECU?

Didn't adjust the idle speed, there was a gap from where I pressed the pedal to where the throttle body opened. Just got rid of the slack. Reset the ecu and both codes came back.

Bought the car the way it is. Not sure if it is chipped but theres a 4k launch control.

You need some slack in the throttle cable.

Are the TPS and IACV plugged in? What wire colors do the TPS and IACV have? Have you checked for swapped sensor connectors?

Okay, I'll readjust the throttle cable tomorrow.

Both are plugged in. Plugs are different from each other.

IACV - Yellow/Black, Blue/Yellow
TPS - Green/White, Red/Blue, Yellow/White

The IACV should have Yel/Blk and Grn/Wht wires. Does the Yel/Blk wire have battery voltage with the key in ON(II)?

Does the Yel/Wht wire in the TPS connector have 5V with the key in ON(II)?
