i was wondering where can i get some nice gaskets for my headers and throw away the ones that my headers came with, its a d16y5 and no name 4-2-1 headers.... or should i get aluminum/ graphite??

Oem or felpro for the exaust manifold gasket and donut gasket. For the down pipe gasket try ebay.

whats wrong with the gaskets it came with? mine work just fine. and you can get a donut gasket at advance, autozone, pep boys. thats what im using and works just as good

Wel the ones that came with my egay header were bend,i put them on like that( i know im dum lol)i had a leak nd took it to the shop nd they charged me 10 bucks for the gaskets nd 10 bucks labor,long story short they do work

ok, i guess i will just use the ones it came with, to see how long they will last.... since people like to be so negative

i just thought the gaskets that the headers come with r s**t, and heard people say to use oem since they last longer... no one tig just the way people answer the questions, since i like to start useless threads rather then doing research first, since i thought this was a web site that u can ask anything

You can ask anything,theres just things that you can find in google or the search button first,in the 6-7 months on CC ive seen the same questions over nd over again,im not trying to be a d**k bro,im still a "noob" also but i learned to use google 1st then if i cant find it,ask on here.

Kind of makes you wonder how we even figured things out BEFORE the internet...:shock:
That's right, read/researched through books, used some common sense and trial and error.
:lol:

You'd think with the plethora of info and ease of access to it all, things would be easier.
Who knew the internet was harder to navigate than doing things the "old fashioned" way?

we just dont like to spoon feed everything when there is plenty of info out there with minimal effort that can be found
