How i got my car,
Found a guy on kijiji and emailed him, thought his car would be nice to have and worth more then mine. We met, traded and went home before i had really checked this car out. Only thing he tells me is its got a little rust in the door sil and the glove box has not button but theres a way to get into it. Obviously this guy is no mechanic. As you will see later in this thread. He's not too smart about his car but i wasnt smart with the trade. I traded my 2003 civic sedan, small mods nothing too much for his 1993 civic si Riced out.

from that picture that dosent look like a vtec motor.
Post up better bay shots and go outside and actually look at the engine and head codes and post them also look for a vtec synloid {spelling}

I get the car to my school, get it lifted and find rust rust and rust, few holes and some surface. I have been cutting and welding one period a day for the past few weeks and its starting to come back together. found out my seat belt was being held on by plastic. Some nice guys decided to crack my tail lights while its been in the shop. Before this on the drive home the car shook real bad. tires are bald, strut is bad and car is out of alignment. The car burns oil and smokes. Anyone know how to fix that?

Are you planning to De-rice, or just fix and sell?
Also for the fact she is smoking, try a compression test/ leak down test to see if it is your pistion rings. If all that turns out good, turn your attention to the seals. They might be old and hard, so a good dose of stop smoke will soften up the seals. If she continues to smoke, you may need to replace your valve seals!

Since having this car i feel as though i have matured in what i want my car to look like. No more flash gaudy s**t. I want clean and contemporary. My plans are to sell my car, pay for college and get a good clean stock civic to build during college. I painted my valve cover and cleaned up my spark plug wires. Any opinions as to what it will look like with the clean red wires?

Yes, F@#$ ahaha, you didnt give me time to fix. i contacted an older owner and the motor is a d15 with around 240000 kms

just fix and sell, i want to start fresh, i feel it will make me satisfied in the end

If you clean up the wires with the black VC it would look pretty good!

Also if you want to clean up the interior try to paint all the red pieces black again.... it will make her 1000X better, hell, even removing the stuff on the sides will make it look better!

i already, have painted it grey, and that should look okay. but thank you for suggestion
