93 LX, no spark, replaced ECM, MAP, Engine temp Sensor, plugs and distributor. Still no spark. The Tach needle bounces around at 3K rpm and above. New ECM no codes. Ignition relay tested good. ignition switch is worn, key will come out in any position. . Also 285K milage and #4 is down to 90 Psi dry and 145 wet. Anybody have a clue? I don't.

I'm confused by this^. The engine should not run at all if there is no spark. Please clarify.

Have you checked for spark at all 4 plugs?

Does voltage reach the Blk/Yel wire in the distributor?

Does the fuel pump prime?

Is the G101 ground wire attached to the thermostat housing shiny clean and tight?

Does the CEL remain on steady when the key is turned from off to ON(II)?

Ron J thanks for yoiur help:
1. The juimpy tach was a pre-existing condition started about 6 months ago. the car will not start
2. I just check the #1 plug for spark by extraction, however, I grabbed each wire barehanded and no shock.
3. I will recheck the ECM ground and the Blk /yellow at the distributor;
4.
5. The CEL acts normal, after installing the new ECM the OBD did not thow any codes. The distributor is new so the probabilty of bad igniters should be low.

Except for #1, your answers don't answer my questions. Provide clear answers, and a solution will come.

is the G101 ground wire attached to the thermostat housing shiny clean and tight? this means no spark without it grounded
