DSMer to Honda?????

im new here my names Justin... i just traded my camaro for a 93 civic and i know nothing about these cars.. nor anything about the motors well to an extent... im still a DSMer at heart... but just trying to explore new stuff....right now the car is pretty rough.... the paint job sucks... it has Z3 fenders... slammed on steelys...and it has headers... its not the stock motor... but ive been told its a D16????

like i said im use to one motor a 4G63 so im not use to all these alphabet motors... but right now i gota replace the axles tomorrow it has a cracked windsheild... and its missing the drivers side mirror glass. plans for are just dailing the car when i cant ride my bike...so im not doing to much to it... i do how ever want to change the wheels.

Looks nice! Not quite slammed ;)
but get some nice wheels, clean her up and dump her down some more and you'll be set.

And for the motor, look on the front of the block and it should be stamped on there

Edit: get some new fenders, quick!

thanks.. and yea im def going back to stock fenders.....not sure if i want to lower it anymore as to my drive way is a pain to get out of with lowered cars....but i will def check for that stamp... thanks for the info...

Haha I wish man it's only the GTS model... Buts still a head turner....and 100% completely stock it's killing me... The wife won't let me do anything to it.. I have a set of 18in ALT sonixs I want to put on it but the wife says no lol....

So does anyone have any good ideas for wheels.... Nothing crazy .... Prolly settle with 15s maybe... And they will be black or other dark color I can't stand the crazy color wheels..... Like black and bright @$$ red... That's just too much lol

You have a d15b7. Fix the car first, then worry about wheels. Wheels won't make dents and rust look any better.

He said it isn't the original motor. Maybe someone put a b7 back in it tho, I wouldn't know cause I can't tell a difference visually from d15 or d16

I didn't even read what his post said, but looking at the pic that is a d15b7.

there is a code stamped to the left of the header on the engine that will tell you what engine you have. drag wheels are cheap and look nice especially if you dont try and do the whole jdm thing with name brand parts( mugen, volks, etc)

I checked out the stamp and it is a D15b7.....and the axle replacements was a bust neither axle nuts will budge tried breaker penetration fluid air tools nothing.....dam Honda lol

leave the tire on and put the car on the ground. use a breaker bar with a cheater and stand on it counter clockwise it always works for me

Damn must be rusted pretty bad if it won't move. Yeah whoever told u it was swapped lied, not that it would matter cuz unless you decide to boost it the D series engines are weak anyway. As for rims whats your budget? Their a re a million 4x100 rims out there though so you've got plenty of choices
