So i've been looking on craigslist lately at alot of different cars trying to decide if I want to keep my civic or not. I found a guy wanting to trade his 96 integra gsr for a civic. The integras engine is completely original and stock with 146k miles and he has some xxr-002s on it on ebay coils. He said he could do gsr blades instead if I wanted. Anyways he likes my car and would want to trade. Mine is a 2000 ex with 147k miles on progress coils.

Here is his ad:

The paint doesn't look like it's in the best condition, but other than that it looks nice. I love teggys and I've been wanting one. And the stock engine in the teg is faster than the d16 in mine.

Would this be a good or bad deal? I'd try to get him to add some cash.

Most people don't straight trade tegs for a civic. I say go for it.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. I think I'm gonna do it if his car is as clean as it sounds. He's got an evo and the integra. He said he used to have an ek and wants another clean one as his dd instead of the teg.

I think you're right. I knew you'd comment telling me to get the integra though. :P

If this car is as described, I'd do it.
It's definitely and upgrade, the Integra has a better overall fit and finish then the Civic, and I think it is one of the best layed out and well designed Honda interiors.

Honestly, thats why I like them better. The insides are so much more comfortable and quality to me. They're not as common as civics either

I straight traded my gsr for a civic :D
How clean is ur car?
Do you like the civic better or the gsr?

My civic is completely clean. I'm leaning towards not getting that teg. idk why I just think it might not be a smart thing to do..

haha well I wouldn't trade for this particular one if I was just going for the engine. The older gsrs had a little less hp than the newer ones. But I like your thinking. hahaha
