As I said in my intro post trying to get my car perfect again. Some things I need to address. I have a check engine light that only comes on sometimes. It never stays on so I can check it after I turn the car off. Any idea's from anyone? I don't notice any difference in the way it runs when it comes on. Kinda stumped. Second my ABS light is on. It is full of fluid. My car has the rear disc conversion, is there a chance that whoever did it just didn't get the conversion off a teg with abs? I've read were that will throw the light.

How to recover the code:

When the CEL turns on while driving, pull over and jump the service connector with the engine still running.

Alright something I just noticed. was looking at your CEL retrieval thread. You said the connecter should be gray for eg. Mine's blue like ek with the brown black wires. Does that really matter?

That's expected. All is good.

Alright well I just tried jumping it and all that happened was the check engine light came on steady and the srs light started blinking. as soon as I took the jumper out they both went out.

Jumping the service connector also retrieves SRS codes (airbag problem). Post a video.

Does the ABS light stay on while driving?

As I mentioned, you'll need to wait for the CEL light to turn on while driving.

ABS light isn't blinking. Just those two lights come on. Just tried reseting the ABS light too and nothing happened. Doesn't go out if I just leave the fuse out too.

ABS light is always on while driving.
The SRS light is never on during driving. Only when ignition is first turned on and just now jumping the service connector.

Ok got the code read. Code number 22-Vtec Pressure Valve. The ABS light still did not clear after i left that fuse unplugged for almost 15 minutes and the light still didn't blink when I checked the codes.

Clean the or replace the VTEC solenoid gasket/filter. Also make sure the engine oil level is full.
