I have a 2011 Honda Civic.
Buying a Set of Alpine Type R's and Kenwood amp from a friend.
2 12" Type R's and Kenwood amp with a box, for 175.
First off is this a good deal? I haven't bought them yet and know very little about them.
Second question is when wiring to the battery where can i get through the firewall.
Not sure where to find a hole because I definitely do not want to drill through.
Thanks!

That's an amazing deal as long as they are in working condition!! 1 alpine type r is 175 alone. You wire the power through a grommet hole in the firewall. That sounds like your getting about 600$ worth of stuff for a good price.

I am quite new to auto work and I can't seem to find the grommet hole everyone talks about. Does anyone know the exact location on the 2011 civ

Help Wiring!

Hey guys just have a quick question for you.
I have a 2011 Civic and I was just wondering where to put the power cable through the firewall, I cannot find a firewall grommet, does someone know an exact location, a picture would be superb.

Not sure man but there should already be stuff running though the firewall just go where that is. I grommet is easy to find its just a rubber plug In a hole

look up underneath your dash where your brake and gas pedal is, and there has to be wires that are going through a rubber garment straight through the fire wall.. but i agree the engine bay is cramped to barely get a hand in there..
