i wish i knew i was getting this job sooner, i would of just went k24 fml
my new desktop!hahah i was sitting in my hella sloped driveway, and since im kinda long i sat like that to keep my feet out of the picture.
Well the vtc actuator only works on the intake cam, but, vtec works in the traditional way that we know it from the B series vtec motors except the K uses roller rockers for a smoother working valvetrain. Both intake and exhaust cams have 3 lobes. The weaker k20a3, k24a4 and k24a1, have the vtc mechanisms as well earning them the i-vtec name, but the vtec portion works like the old D series vtec where the secondarylobe simply matches the primary lobe.
And the poem guy was random but kinda cool lol. Didn't expect that.
went out and shot an integra for a friend of mine and we did a lil bit of video too. So I'll throw that up here sometime soon.
