I finally finished the harness. It was a ton of work and something I don't plan on doing again anytime soon, but definitely a learning experience.

I started with an OEM 96-98 EX harness.

Modifications:
-2nd O2 sensor
-CKF bypass
-removed PS
-extended/shortened wires for a "tucked" look
-custom loom

Before:

After:

and I even did the charge harness...

More updates tonight. I am hoping to take out the D16Y7 tomorrow. =)

How much modification did you have to do to your stock hardness?

Taking a lunch break and decided to post some pics. The engine is completely assembled. After I finish eating I'm going to polish the rest of the muffler, then start to take the old engine out. Wish me luck!

So nice man!
Harness and engine looking great! Good luck on the swap!
Thanks guys!

I've been working on the engine for about 3 hours now and its almost ready to come out. I need to run to the auto parts store to get some hose clamps and new front lower ball joints. Then I just have to remove the axles and pull it out.

Another long hard day of work.

I still have some more stuff to hook up tomorrow. Let's hope it starts with no problems.

So far at least... Both the lower ball joints were a pain to get out and they both ripped so I have to replace those. I also haven't tried to start it yet...

Haha yeah I need to get a new one. This one is pretty clean, it's just all wrinkled. Glad to hear you're getting back into Honda's!

Looks great ReedMann! I don't know if you covered this yet but are there going to be any upgrades on the motor?

Haha mine weren't as bad as yours, but they were still a pain.

As of right now, I'm just trying to get the motor in and running for daily use.

Great update
Thanks!

Help:

So I had everything installed on the motor, filled all the fluids, and went to turn it over. The starter turned the motor over, but it didn't fire. I pulled a spark plug and there was no spark so I'm thinking it's the distributor since I replaced the cap, rotor, wires, and plugs.

I also didn't smell any fuel. Is there anything special that has to be done after the fuel line has been disconnected and reconnected?
