does the crankshaft have teeth to mesh with the crankshaft pulley?

hey I have a JDM D15b sohc vetec motor in my civic and after I swapped the transmisison last week I found out somehow the crankshaft pulley got loose. once i got it off and inspected it, It looks like there were teeth on the inside of the pulley and on one side they are completely worn off. the crankshaft shows no sign of teeth which means either they are completely worn off or they never had them in the first place. Ive been looking online and I cant find pictures of crankshafts with teeth on the end. but then why would the pulley have teeth on the inside where it meets the crankshaft? am I screwed or not?

also does anyone know which aftermarket companies make good crankshaft pulleys? i mean i know unorthodox racing is good but theirs said it was about $300. how about companies such as cfr, airspeed, doorman, blox, t1r, box, and zerone?
