1993 Honda civic lx motor swap

I have a 93 honda civic lx with a 1.5 non vtech and i came across a 1.6 vtech motor really cheap and i wanted to know if it will drop in my bay and mount up to the motor mounts and do i need to change the wiring? i will appreciate the help guys

Nothing will be changed if you are going from OBD1 to OBD1. The only thing you will have to wire in is vtec and buy a vtec ecu (p28) if you want that to work.

Everything else should bolt right up with no problems.

^^Either that or a Y8, either way it should just mount up shouldn't it? Electrical would be a differant story!

ok cool im not sure if the guy has the ecu with but i can always go online n buy one and i think it is a D16Z6 not completely sure
