Orlando is a cool place.. and I enjoy living here, but it doesn't hold a candle to somewhere like NYC for a vacation spot.

I think there's something to be said for having your first Disney experience, or going to Islands of Adventure for the first time, but you've probably hit the theme parks in California already, am I wrong? I suppose you could hit up Miami beach, but once again.. you've probably already seen beaches in Cali where rich people live. If you lived in the midwest, or the northeast, I'd say "Hell yea, check out Orlando", but I don't know what Orlando has left to offer you that you haven't already seen in Cali.

You can always come to Massachusetts n check out the cape n the islands.

NYC was good to visit for a short stay but there is a s**t load to do n see

St. Petersburg FL it's nice. Nothing like swimming in the gulf a Mexico. They have some nice beaches n Tampa ain't to far n you can hit Busch Gardens. Orlando FL is about a 3hr drive n you can guru Disney n universal studios.

Maryland ain't bad. Not much to do but it's nice. Washington d.c. Is a nice place to visit.

My favorite place to visit is Nashville.TN. But you already have been there.

Rangely Maine is great in the winter time. You can rent snowmobiles n ride into Canada and the scenery is beautiful.

I didn't really Luke Dallas TX.

^^Ah, yea. DC should definitely be added to the list. Try to go when the Cherry Blossoms are in bloom for a little bit of extra awesome.

I'm not a big reader of novels.
Agreed on that point. I don't read a lot of fiction.

if you're looking for anything to do in the next week or so. San Antonio is about to throw its annual 10 day city wide party called fiesta. lots of good Mexican food and beer will be going around along with music and lots of people

Tom, turn your trip into a real adventure. Be the first to drive from NorCal to Hawaii -- in a Civic.

NYC, Washington D.C., any of the popular Cali cities (San Fran, San Diego, LA), New Orleans, Denver, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Austin, Miami or Orlando, never heard much about Boston but probably worth checking out.

I'm sure there are plenty more places but those are probably on the top of lists you'll find.

This may sound a little strange, but go somewhere that's near an Amish town. It's interesting to see that way of living if you've never seen it before.

Exactly what I said about Rochester. But apparently it's high up on the list for a lot of things. We have some of the top schools in the nation and other random s*** I didn't care to remember that I heard on the radio lol. And you can't forget about Wegmans. Ranked #1 best grocery store and I think employer to work for in the nation. I know grocery store for sure. Back when I landscaped, one of the houses we worked on was occupied by the wife of the original founder of it.

Well if your going to come to Canada, come to Newfoundland... Here on the west coast of the Island we have alot of long winding roads that never get boaring.... or come around the fall of the year and follow Targa Newfoundland ( look up on Youtube)... this place is very under populated, and we have amazing senery! We always get lots of American visitors each summer!
