DDM Tuning HID bulbs not extending far enough into headlights

I know what you mean. I've been in your shoes. Years ago, I used to rock HID's without a retrofit too.

Did you have moisture problems before adding HID's? If not, do your best to get that boot to seal tight. If you did, I'd recommend opening up and re-sealing your headlights with more butyl rubber (can be purchased from theretrofitsource.com).
never, just because the OEM bulbs plugged snug with the hole of the rubber boot. The boot fits snug and tight still its just the center hole where you put the bulb through is where there's a little hole where air can get through cause the shape of the base of the HID bulb is cylindrical rather than circular. so it doesn't seal the whole hole. if that at all made sense lmao.

Yeah I know what you mean. I had the same issue when I had a DDM kit. The new morimoto bulbs I got came with these round rubber boot type things that help seal that hole up. Not as tight as OEM but much better than leaving an empty hole. I think some of the cheap aftermarket kits come with them but some don't as well.
