Sunroof Piping?

Hey so the Civic has been leaking water into the car and it seems like its towards the back passenger side a little more due to a puddle on the floor behind the seat. Somebody said it can be the pipe from the sunroof...where is that and how do i locate it to find out if it is leaking from there? I also thought it could be coming in from the bottom of the door somewhere? Has anybody ever had this problem

What model civic? There is usually a pipe running from the sunroof to the trunk/rear quarter area to drain, and it usually leaks into the trunk. Check your seals around your doors and windows too. They could be bent/pinched/torn, etc.

Your thread title would have been more helpful had it included mention of a water leak.

Is there also water on the floor below the glove box?

sorry. 98 civic ex coupe. the main area that has the water is right behind the pass. seat. there was water before when i first found out it was leaking. there was some water under the glove box as well. i also noticed when i opened the door on the pass. side It seemed like it could be coming thru the bottom of the door more towards the lower left corner?...idk, i just want to resolve this asap because its my girls car and she always has my daughter with her in the car.

Is it possible that the water leak is coming from somewhere behind the glove box and just pooling in the rear?

but the carpet in the front under the box would have been soaked?...so the possible leaks could be, sunroof drain hose, rubber seals...windshield?....before i thought it was like the heater core but it only happens when it rains so it couldnt have been that...i need some prof. to look at the carr, someone who is good with Civics...Does anybody live around the 585 area that is willing to look at it and hopefully fix it for a good price?

This is not a technical thread but a search for a mechanic as you are unable to do the work yourself. Pay a mechanic if you want the problem fixed.

project_civic, RonJ was only trying to help out. He knows what he is talking about and is asking questions to help you figure out your issue. He wasn't being negative.

Try getting a friend and a hose. Sit in the car while they run water over the car and see if you can determine where it is coming from. Its possible there is a leak in the door seal and it is running down the jam and pooling under the seat that way.
