94 civic dx lost spark

I have a 94 civic dx with a sohc 16 valve 1.5... I think. The other day i was messing around with it around some friends, and we all thought it would be funny to hear what it sounded like running with 2 spark plug wires unplugged. (rather stupid eh?) well anyway to make long story short, car died and lost spark. I was just wondering if that immediately points to an exact part going out or if i will still have to troubleshoot the ignition problem. also it makes a weird tone, coming from the idle control valve, after i try to start it. i see a blue wire with yellow stripe is running to it i believe from the distributor. Is this a sign of anything? Thanks for any help and please don't discriminate too much for my stupid act, lol.

Removing a spark plug wire while the engine is running is one of the most efficient ways to blow the coil inside the distributor. I hope you didn't also blow the igniter unit. Check for signs of burning or damage inside the distributor.

just alot of corrosion. i suppose coil overcharges when missing wires, hence bad coil. is it possible to buy coil seperate from whole distributor?
