D16Z6 - chipped P28 throws many CEL codes

hi when i rev over 4k the engine warning light comes on and the car gos in to limp mode and fills a bit flat .and when i turn the ignition off the light gos off and stays off till it revs over 4k

my cars codes are
13 BARO - atmospheric pressure sensor
16 Fuel injectors
17 VSS - speed sensor
54 CKF - crank fluctuation sensor
61 Primary oxygen sensor

i took it garage and thay did a diagnostics test and thay said that thay was having trouble talking to the ecu coz it was chipped is this true also thay also found an Throttle position sensor error

are any of these easy to fix need help asap

yes thEy should all be easy to fix..what motor/mods do you have and why is the ecu chipped?

get your hands on a stock ecu or take out the chip and the car should run better..or maybe take the car to a tuner to get it all checked out

A real EK3 from the Japanese market? Didn't this come with a JDM D15b engine? Or did you swap in a D16Z6?

the last owner swaped the for the d16z6 engine
dont no if its a import it says ek3 on an plate at the back of the the engine bay
also it seems to puf black smoke whe i rev it i think its to do with running rich i has got a fual rail and fual boost

Your engine is not turboed, right?

First you need the correct ECU for the engine.

Second, return your fuel system to stock. The enhancements only make your engine run rich and don't have any significant effect on performance.

no its not turboed would the standerd p28 ecu be the right one to try

Yes. Make sure to get a P28 for a manual transmission, if that's what you have.
