One of the front torque mounts is completely shot, so it is pretty lurchy when driving. I hope to have that fixed tomorrow.
.
pick up some aftermarket motor mounts. Ran my innovative 75A insert mounts without torque mounts with no problems.

Yeah yeah I know... Mounts are on my list of things to buy. I don't have the cash right now. I think I'm just going to pick up an Autozone torque mount for the time being in order to stop the lurching.

Looks real nice in there finally! Looking forward to more pics
Thanks man. I need to get around to taking some more.

So, I've been having a bunch of weird issues with the engine lately. Long story short, I think it's the head gasket. So looks like I'm taking the motor apart next weekend. :|

Wel here are some of the symptoms I've been having. Tell me if you think this is the head gasket.

-Sporadic overheating. It's only happened twice. The first time was earlier in the week and I flushed the radiator hoping that would fix it. It didn't overheat for four days until yesterday when it got really hot on just a normal drive to work.

-A hissing sound when I turn the car off. I read that if there is a blown head gasket, the block loses compression when the car is turned off and that is the hissing sound.

-Lagging or lack of power. It doesn't happen all the time, but it is definitely noticeable. Also caused by loss of compression.

-No drop in coolant in the reservoir despite overheating. This is because the coolant escapes the system when it gets to the head gasket, is burned off, and replaced with air. The air forces coolant into the reservoir, making the coolant level seem fine. This one is interesting to me because I have had some small, but noticeable coolant leaks over the past week and I have never had to fill the reservoir. If anything, it looks fuller.

I hope to pull the spark plugs later today to be sure, but to me this seems like a head gasket. Ugh, I just want this thing to be running right.

I was going to pull the spark plugs to check, but I decided to do the oil cap first. I've seen enough.

My friend at Honda is going to hook me up with some parts. I'll be pulling it apart slowly this week and hopefully have it all back together by next Saturday. Good thing my dad is out of town for business this week and I can borrow his Odyssey haha.

Got the parts in for the head gasket.

Drained the coolant today and it was definitely mixed with oil.

Some more bad luck. I bought some rims from a guy on craigslist. He told me they were 4x100 and I, like an idiot believed him without measuring. Well needless to say, they were 4x114 so now I'm stuck with rims that don't fit. Hopefully I can sell them to someone and make my money back...
